Galvan Electrical Announces Universal Ground Rod Driver

Harrisburg, N.C. -- Galvan Electrical Products has announced the introduction of a universal ground rod driver to its line of grounding products, connectors and tools. The Galvan GRDU is a safe, easy-to-use and cost-effective tool for the installation of all 5/8" and 3/4" ground rods without the need for ladders, power tools or hammers.

Made in the U.S.A and featuring high-quality materials, design and construction, the GRDU Ground Rod Driver can be used with any type of ground rod, including copper-coated, galvanized or stainless-steel.

Each Galvan ground rod driver unit consists of three parts: the body, the insert and the retainer. The weighted steel driver body is made with rubber hand grips for greater comfort, power and control.

The insert slides within the driver body and maintains contact with the ground rod to prevent deforming of the rod end, easily driving the rod to ground level or below grade without kneeling or need of a ladder. The retainer holds the insert in place within the body when the unit is not in use. The entire unit is completely self-contained and weighs only 23 pounds.
